Before you paddle out.
I'm a complete beginner. Can I join?
Yes. Beginner lessons start with beach instruction and basic board skills before entering the water. The final spot depends on the day's conditions.
Where do lessons take place?
Our base point is Legian. Depending on weather, season, wave quality and your level, lessons may take place in Kuta, Legian, Uluwatu or Nusa Dua.
Is pick-up included?
Yes. Free pick-up is available within a 5 km radius of the Legian base point.
What is included?
Surfboard, rashguard, drinking water and instructor are included.
How long is a session?
Each session is 2 hours.
How do I confirm my booking?
No deposit is required. Send your booking request, then Rock Mini Surf checks availability. Once the date, time and spot are confirmed, you will receive a confirmation message via WhatsApp or email. Please keep that confirmation as your booking proof.
What payment methods are available?
Payment is currently by cash on the day of the confirmed lesson.
Do you offer kids lessons?
Yes. Kids lessons are for children aged 6–13 and focus on safe, fun, friendly and happy ocean experiences, with age-appropriate instruction and confidence building.
